This is speculative on my part, but I doubt it’s coincidental that SC engine development started before it was 100% standard to assume your user would have a multi-core processor.

I fucking am. I didn’t pay $1700 for a graphics card to have potato graphics. I’m glad there’s been plenty of bad press on this, not that I would have bought it this close to launch anyway.

I agree with the general sentiment, but 20 is a bit of a stretch given that it misses Fallout 3, NV, 4, the original release of Oblivion, and Skyrim. Twenty years ago was the start of their golden era, in my book.
It was a complete mindfuck when I realized it takes place in the Alan Wake universe. Currently working on the Alan Wake remaster so the DLC isn’t full of spoilers. Really interesting storytelling in both.
Hmm I knew about the crab Rangoon one but not this. Interesting. Also, does anyone know if New Dawn is any good? I’ve skipped the “expansion” titles in the series because I was not a fan of Blood Dragon, but it feels like I’m not giving New Dawn and Primal their due when all the mainline entries in the series have been fantastic.
I’m having so much fun with Oblivion Remastered that I will probably cave if they start re-releasing Fallout games. It’s also surprisingly day1-stable, especially for a Bethesda game.
